Strategic Alliances Director for a Leading European (AI, CPU) Company in Barcelona 


We are managing a Strategic Alliances Director for a company dedicated to to designing and marketing a new generation of high-performance accelerators and general-purpose processors. Their focus lies in supercomputing and artificial intelligence that will result in highly efficient accelerators and processors.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with industry partners and help during the bidding process of other partners (System Integrators, Hardware Vendors, Software Vendors, etc).
  • Support the process of doing Proof of Concepts, Joint Innovation activities, profitability analysis, business plans, etc.
  • Identify and promote alliances or applied innovation activities that will generate the demand of the company silicon portfolio.
  • These consortiums may include multiple parties from private sector and public entities from different countries, so it is essential to have good vision skills to identify and design these agreements with a win-win approach, helping to create sustainable alliances in time and with the appropriate return of investment. 
  •  A “vision leader” and “achiever” personality will help him/her to accomplish his mission. 

Requirements

  • The candidate should have 8 or 12 years of experience as Account Executive / Relationship Manager / Sales Manager / Sales Engineer; in technology business or consulting companies or a business consulting division of a global industrial or manufacturing group.
  • Experience in any company focused on Artificial Intelligence, High-Performance Computing, Cloud Computing, Data Centre, Network Virtualization, Communications, Cyber-Security, Internet of Things, Edge Computing, Technology Training, etc; would be very valuable. 
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to guide, influence, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.
