Software Engineering Manager for a global FinTech

We are currently managing a Software Engineering Manager role for a leading global FinTech in the optimization and management of expenses, bookings and business travel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze software requirements

• Ability to review and influence design plans 

• Manage goal priorities as set by the senior management and delegate tasks to the appropriate resources

• Develop, lead, coach, and assess the engineering team

• Grow a team culture that is collaborative 

• Provide technical guidance and coaching, break down barriers that interfere with tasks 

• Have direct reports, remote or local

Requirements

• +4-6 years of experience in software development.
• +2 years of experience managing a team
• Expertise in one language, ideally in Java, (or JavaScript or Python) and developing sophisticated software without supervision and understanding the broad architecture.
• Experience working in OS X and Linux environments, Spring, AWS, Microservices, SQL, NoSQL, GIT.
• Experience working in a scrum and DevOps environment.
• Good understanding of agile application development lifecycle. 
• Proven track record mentoring and guide junior developers.
• High Level of English is a must.
