We’re currently searching for a Software Engineer III (Python) to join an American fintech company with a global presence of over 900 employees. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a remote-first company based in Barcelona, as part of a high-performing international team.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop reliable backend services in Python, powering essential financial products used by thousands of users.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, DevOps, Data) across various time zones to deliver secure and high-performing features.
• Influence architectural decisions and help define the technical direction of the backend systems.
• Build and scale cloud-native applications using AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, S3, and RDS.
• Take part in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and support a strong culture of knowledge sharing.
• Advocate for best practices in backend engineering, DevOps, and CI/CD workflows (we use GitHub Actions, IaC, and Docker).

Requirements:

• Solid hands-on experience as a Python developer.
• Strong knowledge and experience managing infrastructure with AWS.
• Proficient in Docker and containerized environments.
• Advanced expertise in PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
