Senior Verification Engineer – Core Testbench & DV Methodology Lead

We are looking for a Senior Verification Engineer to take ownership of a core-level verification environment and drive improvements across methodology, tooling, and infrastructure. This role focuses on evolving a top-level UVM testbench, ensuring robust coverage, and strengthening verification practices across complex microarchitecture and datapath components. You will also act as a technical reference, collaborating closely with RTL teams and guiding verification strategy.

Responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the top-level core testbench and UVM environment, integrating unit-level VIPs for reuse at system level.

• Drive functional and code coverage closure by reviewing regression results and refining tests and coverage models.

• Identify and close verification gaps across unit boundaries, validating assume/guarantee relationships between modules.

• Maintain and optimize verification flows, including compilation, regression, coverage collection, and CI infrastructure.

• Lead upgrades of verification tools and flows, adopting modern methodologies and aligning with EDA vendor capabilities.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship, reviewing testbench architectures and promoting coverage-driven and assertion-based verification.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on design verification experience, including processor cores or complex microarchitecture.

• Expertise in SystemVerilog and UVM, building reusable multi-agent environments and integration testbenches.

• Strong skills in functional coverage, verification planning, and assertion-based verification (SVA).

• Hands-on experience with Questa and debug tools such as Visualizer or Verdi.

• Proficiency in Python, along with Bash or Tcl, and ownership of CI/CD and regression infrastructure.

• Valuable: Experience in RISC-V verification, datapath or floating-point verification, formal verification, emulation platforms, and protocols such as AXI or CHI.
