Senior JavaScript Engineer for a global FinTech

We are currently managing an Senior JavaScript Engineer role for a leading global FinTech in the optimization and management of expenses, bookings and business travel.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain sophisticated software without supervision
Be responsible for quality and maintainability of the product and actively identifies areas for improvement
Supervising other Software Engineers and communicate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex software problems and present viable alternative solutions
Identify risks and participate in code reviews (own and others) and offer recommendations for improvement and constructive feedback
Ensure the security of the software by implementing appropriate security measures and following security best practices
Expand code review responsibilities, including OWASP SSDLC assessment
Explore, research, and propose new technologies and provide technical advice and weighs in on technical decisions that impact other teams or the company
Interact directly with clients

Requirements

+8 years of experience in software development ideally within a Lead position.
Expertise in JavaScript and developing sophisticated software without supervision and understanding the broad architecture.
Experience working in OS X and Linux environments, AWS, Microservices, SQL, NoSQL, GIT.
Experience working in a scrum and DevOps environment.
Good understanding of agile application development lifecycle.
Proven track record mentoring and guide junior developers.
High Level of English is a must.
