Senior IT Project Manager

We are looking for a Senior IT Project Manager to lead strategic technology initiatives in a complex business environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong IT project delivery experience, solid business analysis capabilities, and the ability to coordinate business, IT, and vendor teams across the full project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex IT projects from discovery to go-live, ensuring delivery within agreed scope, timelines, and budget.

• Apply Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies depending on project needs and delivery context.

• Manage project governance activities, including steering committees, RAID logs, project charters, and delivery roadmaps.

• Coordinate risks, issues, budgets, reporting, and escalation plans to support effective decision-making.

• Collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to define requirements and deliver technical or functional solutions.

• Facilitate testing, user training, change management, production delivery, and post-project evaluation.

Requirements

• Bring 7+ years of IT project management experience, including at least 3 years in trading, financial services, or comparable environments.

• Demonstrate experience managing large-scale, cross-functional IT projects from initiation through delivery.

• Show strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies, as well as project management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.

• Have proven expertise in risk management, issue resolution, budget control, vendor management, and third-party integrations.

• Understand the trade lifecycle across front office, middle office, and back office processes, including Risk, P&L, and Reporting.

• Hold full professional proficiency in spoken and written English, with eligibility to work in Spain.
