QA Engineer

We are looking for a QA Engineer to join a fast-paced technical environment focused on delivering high-quality software. You will work closely with development and platform teams, preparing test environments, executing manual testing activities, and helping ensure reliable software releases across networked systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare systems and test environments, including installation, configuration, network setup, and test data provisioning.

• Execute scripted and exploratory tests, including functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing.

• Validate build artifacts received from platform teams and verify their readiness for testing.

• Collect logs, document defects with clear evidence, and verify implemented fixes.

• Collaborate with development and QA teams while communicating testing status, risks, and release readiness across different time zones.

• Support the APAC team by acting as the QA representative for Singapore-related activities.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, subnets, routing, switching, DNS, DHCP, and packet analysis.

• Hands-on experience with Linux, including installation, services, networking tools, log analysis, and shell usage.

• Proven discipline in manual testing, including accurate test execution, evidence collection, and defect reporting.

• Ability to interpret technical specifications and create effective test scenarios and checklists.

• Fluent English communication skills with strong attention to detail and a collaborative mindset.

• Valuable: DevOps fundamentals, CI/CD concepts, containers, infrastructure knowledge, Jira, and Git-based workflows.
