Operations Engineer (Windows)


We are looking for a proactive Level 3 Operations Engineer (Windows) to join a technology-driven organization delivering managed IT services for enterprise clients. In this role, you will provide advanced operational support for Windows-based infrastructures, acting as the highest technical escalation point for complex incidents while ensuring stability, security, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Own and resolve complex Level 3 incidents, problems, and non-standard changes within agreed service levels.
  • Act as the technical escalation point for Level 2 engineers, providing guidance and mentoring.
  • Perform in-depth root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions to prevent recurring incidents.
  • Provide advanced administration and support for Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and core Windows services.
  • Lead patching, upgrade, remediation, backup, restore, and disaster recovery activities.
  • Support platform hardening, security remediation, and operational resilience initiatives.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and service management teams to deliver reliable and secure services.
  • Contribute to incident reviews, problem management, operational documentation, and technical knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation and ensure operational activities comply with governance, security, and audit requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, service stability, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
  • Experience managing complex incidents, problem management, and change management within an ITSM environment.
  • Solid knowledge of patch management, backup and recovery, system hardening, and infrastructure best practices.
  • Experience performing root cause analysis and implementing long-term technical solutions.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience creating technical documentation and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken.
