Level 3 Operations Engineer (Windows)

We are looking for a Level 3 Operations Engineer (Windows) to join a managed services team focused on maintaining secure and resilient enterprise infrastructure. This role is designed for an experienced technical specialist who will lead the resolution of complex operational challenges across Windows platforms while driving service stability and continuous improvement. You will act as a senior escalation point, ensuring robust operational performance across critical customer environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the resolution of complex Level 3 incidents, problems, and non-standard changes across Windows infrastructure.

• Investigate root causes across Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and core Windows Server services.

• Implement permanent fixes through advanced patching, remediation, upgrade, and platform hardening activities.

• Provide technical escalation support and mentoring to Level 2 engineers during incident resolution.

• Develop operational runbooks, technical documentation, and post-incident improvement actions.

• Collaborate with service, platform, and compliance teams to ensure resilience, governance, and audit readiness.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a Level 3 Windows operations or infrastructure support role.

• Extensive expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy administration.

• Strong experience resolving complex incidents and leading root cause analysis in an ITSM environment.

• Hands-on experience with platform hardening, patching, backup, recovery, and remediation activities.

• Strong understanding of incident, problem, and change management processes.

• Valuable: Experience with ServiceNow, PowerShell, managed services environments, financial services support, or Microsoft certifications.
