NOC/SOC Senior Coordinator for an international GreenTech

We are currently managing a Senior NOC/SOC Coordinator for an important GreenTech that is scalling up their Tech and Security department. 

In the role of NOC/SOC Senior Coordinator, you will take charge of the companies’ existing network and security operations while also assuming responsibility for advancing, improving, and overseeing its capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Leading 24×7 NOC/SOC services, ensuring service issues are resolved per SLAs.
• Developing and maintaining NOC/SOC policies and procedures for consistent operations.
• Evaluating and implementing tools to improve monitoring capabilities.
• Collaborating with NOC/SOC teams to monitor and resolve server and network issues around the clock.
• Reviewing event indications and system logs, adhering to SLAs and procedures.
• Creating and maintaining monitoring schemes and playbooks.
• Promoting synergy among NOC/SOC sub-services to align with the overall service mission
• Implementing enhancements for continuous improvement.
• Internally marketing the NOC/SOC capabilities to foster collaboration within the IT community.
• Participating in special projects as needed.

Requirements:

• Over 6 years of relevant computer operations experience.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a technical IT Security position.
• Knowledge of networking and security industry, products, and protocols.
• Familiarity with Security products, particularly Firewalls, Proxy, IPS/IDS, and Cloud Technologies.
• Prior experience in managing NOC/SOC activities.
• Experience in global network and cloud environments.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise staff and coordinate 24×7 shift schedules.
• Proficiency in implementing monitoring tools and capabilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving, leadership, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Willingness to learn about new technologies like SASE and the capacity to deploy and manage them effectively.
• Proficiency in various platforms, including Windows, Mac, and Linux.
• English proficient and spanish
