Network Engineer L3 

We are looking for a highly skilled Network Engineer to provide advanced operational support and lifecycle management across complex enterprise network environments.

The role focuses on troubleshooting, optimisation, and change execution within regulated financial services contexts. You will play a key role in ensuring network stability, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve complex incidents across SDWAN, WAN, LAN/WLAN, VPN/SASE, and load balancing environments while ensuring regulatory compliance.

• Implement and validate network configuration changes using approved templates, security baselines, and audit-ready processes.

• Manage routing policies, QoS configurations, wireless performance tuning, and load balancer updates to optimise network performance.

• Support onboarding of new sites and services using Zero-Touch Provisioning (ZTP) and Infrastructure-as-Code pipelines.

• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve escalated issues and ensure compliance with operational and security standards.

• Contribute to continuous service improvement initiatives, including monitoring optimisation, capacity analysis, and automation support.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in network engineering within enterprise or regulated environments.

• Strong knowledge of routing and switching protocols such as BGP and OSPF, including ACLs and NAT.

• Hands-on experience with SDWAN technologies (e.g. Fortinet, Cisco) and VPN/SASE environments.

• Experience with load balancing platforms such as F5 or equivalent solutions.

• Familiarity with automation or scripting tools such as Python, Terraform, or Ansible.

• Strong understanding of ITSM processes, ServiceNow, and network compliance frameworks in financial services contexts.
