Monitoring Engineer
We are looking for a Monitoring Engineer to support the operation and continuous improvement of monitoring and observability services across complex technical environments. You will work closely with infrastructure, cloud, network, and service teams to ensure proactive monitoring, operational resilience, and high service quality. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and hands-on experience managing enterprise monitoring platforms.
Responsibilities

Operate and maintain monitoring solutions across infrastructure, cloud, network, and security services.

Configure alerts, thresholds, and dashboards aligned with SLAs, KPIs, and operational requirements.

Collaborate with Service Assurance and engineering teams to improve alerting, escalation, and incident response processes.

Support root cause analysis and major incident reviews using monitoring data and performance insights.

Automate monitoring deployment and configuration processes where possible using scripting and technical tools.

Produce audit ready documentation, monitoring reports, and performance summaries for stakeholders.
Requirements
-
Proven experience in Monitoring, Observability, NOC, or Operations Engineering environments.

Strong knowledge of monitoring principles, observability concepts, and alerting strategies.

Hands-on experience with enterprise monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Zabbix, SCOM, Datadog, Dynatrace, Prometheus, or Grafana.

Experience integrating monitoring solutions with ITSM and event management platforms.

Fluent written and spoken English with the ability to create structured technical documentation.

Valuable: experience with financial services environments, ITIL processes, automation scripting with PowerShell or Python, and 24/7 service operations.
