We are partnering with a fast growing startup headquartered in Barcelona.
They operate a mixed cloud and on-premise environment.

We are seeking a hands-on Lead DevOps who will lead a small team; as they are investing in building a scalable, reliable, and modern infrastructure to support both internal teams and customer-facing services.
 

Responsibilities

• Lead a small Platform team, owning the vision, roadmap, and execution of core infrastructure and platform services.
• Ensure the reliability, availability, and security of all platform components across cloud and on-premise environments.
• Design, maintain, and optimise cloud services on AWS (compute, storage, databases, serverless, etc.).
• Oversee on-premise servers, internal systems, and computing environments.
• Manage and prioritise the Platform backlog, coordinate incident response, and drive infrastructure improvements.
• Perform hands-on technical tasks, contribute to code reviews, and participate in future OnCall rotations.

Requirements

• +4 years of experience managing AWS infrastructure in production environments; and managing on-premise systems (servers, networking, storage, monitoring, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with Iac, automation, and system administration tools.
• Understanding of networking, databases, observability, and Linux system internals.
• Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English, with very strong ownership, proactivity, and problem-solving skills.
