We are currently managing a Java Software Engineer role for a leading global FinTech in the optimization and management of expenses, bookings and business travel.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain sophisticated software without supervision
• Be responsible for quality and maintainability of the product and actively identifies areas for improvement
• On-board and mentor less experienced team members and may have a role in supervising others
• Ensure the security of the software by implementing appropriate security measures and following security best practices
• Understand OWASP
• Identify risks and propose viable solutions

Requirements

• +4 years of experience in software development ideally with Project Lead experience.
• Expertise in Java and developing sophisticated software without supervision and understanding the broad architecture.
• Experience working in OS X and Linux environments, Spring, AWS, Microservices, SQL, NoSQL, GIT.
• Experience working in a scrum and DevOps environment.
• Good understanding of agile application development lifecycle.
• Proven track record mentoring and guide junior developers.
• High Level of English is a must.
