Java Developer for an International 

At IKIGAI Talent, we are managing a Java Developer role for a leading global company in the precious metals sector. The company specialises in refining, trading, and distributing high-end metal products, and is currently expanding its technological operations across Europe.
 

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and associated frameworks.
• Design, build, and optimize APIs and services that support financial applications, ensuring high reliability, scalability, and low latency.
• Collaborate with front-end teams to seamlessly integrate backend services with React-based interfaces.
• Review code, maintain coding standards, and drive continuous improvement in development practices.
• Support the automation of deployments and CI/CD workflows in coordination with DevOps engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development with Java.
• Deep knowledge of JVM internals, covering concurrency, multithreading, performance optimization, memory management, and garbage collection.
• Manage database persistence with JPA/Hibernate, ensuring efficient data modeling and optimized queries.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, Git, and deploying applications in Docker/Kubernetes containers.
