IT Project Manager for a Chemical Manufacturing Company

We are looking for an IT Project Manager, hands-on individual with a strong background in IT infrastructure and systems for a large company with over 75 years of experience, and a leader in the industrial chemical products sector, dedicated to distribution and storage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure adequate service levels in the operation of IT systems.
• Verify compliance with security measures according to organizational security policies.
• Guarantee business continuity.
• Plan, supervise, and coordinate the development, implementation, maintenance, and evolution of operating systems, databases, and commercial software.
• Manage and resolve system incidents, directing technical activities, resources, and support teams for operating systems, databases, and communications.

Requirements 

• Skilled in managing and executing infrastructure and IT system projects, including system administration tasks.
• Proficient in administering and maintaining Windows and Linux servers, as well as SQL databases and SAP Basis.
• Experienced in virtual infrastructure management with VMware and cloud services on AWS.
• Skilled in operating backup systems, performing system recovery, and troubleshooting network and communication issues.
• Experienced in technical documentation and working with ticket management applications to resolve incidents and identify root causes.

Benefits

• Salary Range: Up to 55k
