Infrastructure & Backup Engineer (Spain) – L4

We are looking for an Infrastructure & Backup Engineer to design, deliver, and support resilient infrastructure and data protection solutions within regulated environments. This role will act as a senior technical authority across backup, recovery, and cloud infrastructure while supporting operational resilience and service continuity. You will collaborate with technical, project, and service teams to deliver secure and high-quality managed services.

Responsibilities

• Design and support infrastructure solutions across on-premises, private cloud, and Azure environments.

• Implement and manage enterprise backup, recovery, and disaster recovery solutions aligned with RPO/RTO requirements.

• Lead root cause analysis and provide technical guidance during incidents, outages, and high-risk changes.

• Collaborate with Project Management and Service Delivery teams to ensure smooth service transitions and operational readiness.

• Drive improvements to infrastructure platforms, backup tooling, processes, and technical documentation.

• Support audits, compliance activities, and operational resilience initiatives within regulated customer environments.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a senior infrastructure engineer supporting mission-critical environments.

• Strong expertise in backup and recovery technologies, including enterprise backup platforms and recovery testing.

• Experience designing and supporting infrastructure within private cloud and Azure environments.

• Strong understanding of operational resilience, disaster recovery, and business continuity requirements.

• Experience delivering infrastructure solutions for regulated or financial services environments.

• Valuable: Experience with MSP environments, PCI-DSS, hybrid cloud integration, or advanced Azure and infrastructure certifications.
