Hardware Security Expert

We are looking for a Hardware Security Architect to join an innovative company developing next-generation high-performance solutions. In this role, you will define and drive the hardware security architecture of complex SoCs, working closely with cross-functional engineering teams to build secure-by-design products from concept through production.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the hardware security architecture for complex SoC platforms, ensuring security is embedded throughout the product lifecycle.
• Design and specify secure hardware features, including secure boot, cryptographic accelerators, secure key management, and hardware trust mechanisms.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, verification, and security teams to define security requirements and implement effective countermeasures.
• Lead the identification, analysis, and mitigation of hardware vulnerabilities across both development and production environments.
• Drive the implementation of security features at RTL and microarchitecture level, ensuring performance, scalability, and robustness.
• Stay up to date with emerging hardware security threats, technologies, and industry best practices, helping shape future security strategies.
• Support compliance with relevant industry security standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements where applicable.

Requirements

• Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Microelectronics, or a related field, with 5+ years of experience in SoC, processor, or complex digital hardware design.
• Strong hands-on expertise in RTL design using Verilog/SystemVerilog, with end-to-end ownership of complex hardware blocks.
• Solid knowledge of hardware security architectures, including secure boot, hardware trust mechanisms, cryptographic IP, and secure key management.
• Experience designing secure hardware for high-performance or embedded systems, with a strong understanding of hardware vulnerabilities, attack vectors, and secure design principles.
• Proficiency in low-level programming (C) and familiarity with assembly language.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and technical documentation skills, with the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
