Founding AI Engineer 

At IKIGAI Talent, we are managing a Founding AI Engineer role for a leading data-intelligence company specialized in international trade, now expanding its presence across Europe.
 

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and growth of the AI system.
• Develop and refine the interaction between  trade datasets and AI models.
• Work closely with the internal Data team.
• Design AI solutions based on business use cases.
• Participate in go-to-market execution.
• Define and measure key system metrics.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant experience building and deploying AI-powered applications.
• Hands-on experience with LLM integration (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure, or similar).
• Experience with vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate, or similar.
• Expertise in API architecture and backend system integration.
• Cloud deployment experience (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Architectural thinking: You design scalable systems, not temporary fixes.
• Ownership mindset.
