Engineering Manager for Fintech

We're managing a role for an a well-founded (Series B) Fintech & Security company that helps banks and financial institutions with Digital Identity technology (Leader in their sector).

This is a strategic position, we are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the Barcelona office, working directly with the Amsterdam office at a strategic level and managing the team in Barcelona (referent in Spain).
 

Responsibilities:

• Be able to drive the software engineering team's best practices
  • 2x Agile teams in BCN (10-15 people)
• Expand, grow, retain & promote teams
• Lead technical discussions and learning sessions
• Develop more leaders within their team
• Collaborate on product direction
• Among others…

Qualifications:

• 8+ years in software product engineering
• 3+ years as a software engineering leader/manager
• Experience & passion for hiring, growing, developing and guiding people
• Excellent knowledge of modern web application development (Azure, .NET & React is a plus)
• Experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe)
• Excellent communication skills including mentoring, coaching and conflict handling.
• Self-driven and team player.
• Ability to work well in an international and multicultural environment in a fast-growing company.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English (C1/C2)

Benefits: 

• Salary range: Up to 90k
