DevOps Tech Lead (Cybersecurity)

We are collaborating with a well-established cybersecurity and digital wellbeing company that is looking for a DevOps Tech Lead to play a key role in scaling and securing its infrastructure while enabling faster and more reliable product delivery.

Responsibilities: 

• Define and drive the infrastructure and operations strategy, aligning it with product and business objectives.
• Lead by example with a hands-on approach while evolving the Operations team and its practices.
• Ensure the platform is scalable, secure, reliable, and optimised for high availability environments.
• Act as a bridge between engineering, product, and business teams to prioritize and execute infrastructure initiatives.
• Implement and mature SRE practices (SLIs, SLOs, SLAs) to ensure reliability and user satisfaction.
• Automate operational processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native patterns.
• Build and maintain strong observability systems, including monitoring and alerting.
• Lead incident response processes and conduct blameless postmortems focused on continuous improvement.
• Optimize infrastructure costs while maintaining performance and scalability.
• Ensure security best practices and support compliance frameworks such as SOC2 or ISO 27001.
• Mentor and grow the operations engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership, learning, and collaboration.

Requirements: 

• 5+ years of experience supporting and developing business-critical systems in high-availability environments.
• 2+ years of experience leading engineering or operations teams in an Agile environment.
• Strong expertise in Linux-based systems and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Advanced experience with Kubernetes, Helm, and cloud-native architectures.
• Solid knowledge of SRE practices, incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Experience with observability tools and practices.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform).
• Familiarity with security and compliance standards.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Product-oriented mindset with focus on internal platform users.
