DevOps Manager for an International Fintech

We are currently managing a DevOps Manager role for one of the world's leading international Fintech companies that is looking for the key member for their Platform Engineer team and help them consolidate and standardize DevOps culture and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Team Management: Lead a team focused on developer enablement & foster an inclusive, supportive environment; ensure team satisfaction and competency.
- CI/CD Pipeline Development: Design self-service, standardized CI/CD pipelines for quick, reliable production deployments.
- Cloud Best Practices: Promote scalable, resilient infrastructure through best practices in cloud architecture, container orchestration, and automation.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Coordinate with stakeholders to align operational priorities with product and engineering roadmaps.
- DevOps Advocacy: Drive adoption of DevOps principles to boost productivity and minimize bottlenecks.
- Automation: Identify and automate repetitive tasks to enhance efficiency.
- Risk Management: Assist in investigations, testing, deployment, and risk mitigation.
Requirements
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/STEM; 6+ years in cloud environments, DevOps, and SaaS lifecycle management.
- Technical Expertise: Skilled in AWS, networking, infrastructure as code, scripting, and supporting scalable, multi-tier web systems.
- Collaboration & Communication: Strong English communication, customer-facing skills, and experience working globally; adept in cross-functional teamwork.
- Leadership & Management: Proven ability to lead in fast-paced environments, manage KPIs, and support teams across time zones.
- Project & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong follow-up, project management, and tool-building abilities, with effective negotiation and consensus-building skills.
