Data Engineer for a Leading electrical Smart-Charging company

We are looking for a Data Engineer to join a dynamic team and be part of a revolutionary movement committed to transform energy usage with cutting-edge electric vehicle charging and energy management systems. Your position will be essential in the designing, developing, and maintaining their data infrastructure. You will manage substantial amounts of data and support the organization in making decisions based on data insights.

Responsibilities

• Create, refine, and uphold data pipelines and ETL workflows to manage extensive datasets, both structured and unstructured.
• Deploy robust and scalable data handling solutions utilizing Scala, Python, and Databricks.
• Enhance the efficiency of data operations and guarantee the integrity, dependability, and uniformity of data.
• Work along with data scientists, analysts, and other key players to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Oversee and rectify issues in data processing tasks.
• Guide and mentor other data engineers (juniors), fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
• Stay up-to-date of emerging trends and advancements in the fields of data engineering and big data analytics.

Requirements

• Over 4 years of expertise in data engineering, specializing in big data platforms.
• Highly skilled in using Scala and Python for data manipulation.
• Experience with Databricks and related technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of big data tools like Apache Spark, Hadoop, and equivalents.
• Extensive SQL knowledge; both relational and NoSQL database systems.
• Familiar with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, and GCP, particularly their data-related offerings.
• Problem-solving abilities with the capacity to operate autonomously or collaboratively.
• High level of English
