Python Backend Engineer

We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join a fast-growing technology team focused on building advanced backend solutions in the cybersecurity sector. You will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of scalable systems while taking ownership of projects throughout the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python.

• Implement and maintain a microservices-based architecture.

• Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker.

• Optimize system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and improve system stability.

• Collaborate with Frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

• Own the end-to-end development process, including analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in backend development delivering scalable solutions.

• Strong hands-on experience with Python.

• Experience with internal OS development.

• Solid understanding of system architecture, microservices, SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), Docker, and Linux.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks from start to finish.

• Valuable: Experience with DevOps practices and on-prem infrastructure.
